A weekend that has it all: great views, long conversations at the tasting counter, the smell of oak barrels wet with wine and wood smoke in the morning air. There’s a little bit of breathing room everywhere you go and everyone you meet has relaxed into post-harvest glee. Taste warming reds right from the barrel and linger over a sample of what could be a double-gold winner at future wine competitions.

Begin with a barrel room and winemaking facility tour led by the winemaker and his brother and end with a 5 course farm to table feast for the senses paired with our 100% estate wines. 	Our tasting room will be open Friday and Saturday from 12-6PM. Join our winemaker both days from 12-4PM as he grills kielbasa made especially for us by the renowned Sun Mountain Lodge kitchen. We'll also be celebrating the release of our 2011 Sabrina, a superb barrel fermented Gewurztraminer which will pair beautifully with the brats and spicy mustard's. Come join the fun and fall in love with Gewurztraminer again!





		Rio Vista would like to give thanks for a great year by donating 10% of the Fall Barrel-Tasting Weekend sales to the American Red Cross.


		Sorrento’s will be serving Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 22, 2-8pm. For reservations please call 509.682.5409. Winemaker Shane Collins will be pouring complimentary tastes from the barrel. Live music during dinner on Saturday, November 24 from 6-9pm, John Duff. On Saturday, November 24, 1-5pm, Anne Hess, of Chloe and Isabel will be doing a Jewelry Pop-up Shop. No admission fee and all are welcome.


		Come in and enjoy a special flight paired with a selection of appetizers from Chef Frank. The Bistro will be open Friday-Sunday with live jazz Saturday night.
